App Data Deletion

Delete your Dhyan Mala app data

Last updated: 18 August 2026

1. What This Page Covers

Dhyan Mala does not require a user account. Most practice data is stored locally on your device, including your preferences, Japa sessions, streaks, totals and other practice history.

This page explains how to remove local app data from your device and how to contact us if you want us to delete information you chose to send to us, such as a feedback message.

2. Delete Local App Data

Because Dhyan Mala is offline-first and does not sync practice history to a Dhyan Mala account, deleting the app or clearing its storage removes the local practice data stored by the app on that device.

  • On iPhone or iPad: delete the Dhyan Mala app from your device. This removes the app and its local app data from that device.
  • On Android: open your device Settings, go to Apps, choose Dhyan Mala, then use Storage options to clear app data or uninstall the app. Exact names may vary by device manufacturer and Android version.

If you use Dhyan Mala on more than one device, repeat these steps on each device where you want local app data removed.

3. Optional Analytics and Diagnostics

Dhyan Mala may use service providers such as Firebase for optional analytics, crash diagnostics, feedback storage or remote configuration. Analytics is disabled by default and can be turned off through the app's privacy settings if you previously enabled it.

Deleting the app removes Dhyan Mala's local data from your device, but some service-provider records may be retained for limited periods for security, diagnostics, legal or operational reasons.

4. Request Deletion of Shared Information

If you sent feedback or contacted us and want us to delete information associated with that message, email us at vedicdarshantech+dhyanmala@gmail.com.

Please include:

  • the email address you used, if you provided one;
  • the approximate date of your feedback or support request;
  • the device platform, such as iOS or Android; and
  • a short note saying you are requesting Dhyan Mala data deletion.

Please do not include sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for us to find and process your request.

5. What We Can and Cannot Recover

Once local practice data is deleted from your device, we usually cannot recover it because Dhyan Mala does not store your practice history in a Dhyan Mala account.

We also cannot delete information controlled by Apple, Google, your device maker, your email provider or other third-party services. You may need to manage those records directly through the relevant provider.
